Connect to your ICON 6M

1. Locate the On Switch on the control panel and switch on your ICON.
2. Wait for the arena to light up and display ESA on the scoreboard.
3. On your phone, tablet or computer, open your WiFi settings.
4. Find and select your ICON's WiFi network. The general guide identifies ICON networks using the format esaIconxxx, where xxx represents the unit number.
5. Allow up to 2 minutes for the WiFi network to become visible.
6. When prompted, enter the WiFi Code shown on this page.
7. Once connected, open your internet browser.
8. Open the FrontPanel URL shown on this page to access the machine controls.
9. Select your preferred training mode.

Assembling your ICON

1. Choose a level installation area with sufficient space, clear of obstructions.
2. Position Control Panel No. 1 closest to the power source.
3. Lay the remaining panels flat on the floor in ascending numerical order, arranged clockwise from the control panel.
4. Prepare the acrylic joiners and rubber washers. Each rubber washer sits between two ICON panels and is held in place by an acrylic joiner.
5. Starting from the control panel, connect panel number 2, followed by panel number 3 and the remaining panels in sequence.
6. Secure the joiners through the holes at the top and bottom of the panels, ensuring a rubber washer is positioned between each panel.
7. Once the joiners are secured, connect the cables. Each cable connects to the panel immediately to the left of the panel it came from.
8. Thread each cable through the hole at the centre of the panel join. Align the connector's four pins with the corresponding socket, insert them and gently twist the connector to secure it.
9. Connect the ICON to the power source using the bottom socket on the left side of the master panel.
10. Check that all joiners and cables are securely connected before operating the equipment.

Using your ICON 6M

Once connected, use the FrontPanel to control your training session.

1. Select your preferred training mode.
2. Adjust the available settings, including session duration and number of targets, to suit your training requirements.
3. Use the Start/Stop button to begin or end your session.
4. Do not change the training mode while a game is running. Stop the current game or wait until it has finished before selecting another mode.
5. During your session, the interface and arena display show your score and remaining time.
6. To log in, select Not logged in and follow the login process using your provided username and password.

Using your ICON 6M

Once connected, use the FrontPanel to control your training session.

1. Select your preferred training mode.
2. Adjust the available settings, including session duration and number of targets, to suit your training requirements.
3. Use the Start/Stop button to begin or end your session.
4. Do not change the training mode while a game is running. Stop the current game or wait until it has finished before selecting another mode.
5. During your session, the interface and arena display show your score and remaining time.
6. To log in, select Not logged in and follow the login process using your provided username and password.

Training Modes

The general ICON guide describes three training modes.

Knockout: Hit all the illuminated blue targets as quickly as possible. Speed, accuracy and one-touch ability are important.

Vision: Hit the blue target to score a point. An orange light indicates where the next blue target will appear. Hit as many blue targets as possible within the time limit.

King of the Ring: Two teams compete to hit an illuminated target belonging to the opposing team. Players use passing and skills to get past defenders. The round duration and number of rounds can be adjusted.

Having trouble connecting?

Your phone says "No Internet Connection"

This is normal when connected directly to the machine's WiFi. You can still access the FrontPanel, Leaderboard and Teltonika interfaces through your browser.

Cannot find the ICON WiFi network?

Allow up to 2 minutes for the network to become visible. Check that the equipment is switched on.

Cannot connect to the WiFi network?

Make sure you are entering the WiFi Code shown on this page.

Cannot open the FrontPanel or Leaderboard?

Check that your device is connected to the ICON WiFi network before opening the relevant URL.

Connecting your ICON 6M to external WiFi

You can control the machine locally without connecting it to an external internet network.

An external internet connection is needed when the machine must communicate externally, such as when ESA Support needs to check background settings or diagnose a fault remotely.

To connect the machine to your venue or office WiFi:

1. Connect your phone to the machine's WiFi.
2. Open the Teltonika URL shown on this page.
3. Log in using the Teltonika credentials shown on this page.
4. Select Network, then Wireless.
5. Select Scan to search for available local WiFi networks.
6. Select your venue or office WiFi network.
7. Enter the network password.
8. Make sure Enable is switched on in the general setup settings.
9. Save and apply the changes.
